Clinical Director ABA Practice

Kristy Shoaf

My name is Kristy Shoaf, I am a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. I got my degree in 2011 from Western Michigan University. I love spending my free time with my husband, chasing around our daughter, Penny, who is 2. I also love to cook and bake, drink good coffee, and spend time outside. I have always been fascinated by Psychology and after taking my practicum in an ABA Preschool, I was hooked on Behavior Analysis and working with children. My favorite thing about working at TLC is the passionate people I get to work alongside, and the children we see every day. My co-workers and our clients motivate me in different ways – always pushing me to learn more, do more, and think outside of the box. My professor at WMU always liked to use the phrase “Saving the World with Behavior Analysis” and that is what I try to do with each client and family. The smallest change can make the biggest difference in a life and that inspires me every single day.
