My name is Jessica and I hold a Master of Arts from Wayne State University and a Bachelor of Science from Western Michigan University. I began volunteering at TLC in 2009 for the speech and sensory summer camp. It quickly became one of my favorite summer traditions! I then worked as an ABA tech and Rehab tech for two years while earning my Master’s degree for Speech Pathology. During this time, I had the privilege of working alongside many professionals from various fields and, of course, all of their fun clients. A place like TLC is special, not only because of the wonderful staff, but also because of the dedicated and loving families of the kids whom we are all helping every day. I enjoy seeing the progress, both big and small, that the kids and families make as they learn to communicate more effectively. Outside of TLC, I spend my time making and seeing art, traveling, and volunteering.
